Sick with headache and upset stomach, so essentially fasted from 6 pm Saturday to noon on Tuesday. Lost 3.8 pounds in that time, down to 168.4 this morning!! So exciting. I feel like I might actually reach 140 by June!

Good week food wise. Getting back into shortening my "fed" window. Listened to a podcast with Ray Cronise and it was helpful. Also trying to allow myself to experience mild cold stress in an effort to burn more fat through brown adipose tissue. Doing a stretch of potato days ideally from Tuesday 1/3-1/13. I allow salt and seasoning on my Potato days plus coffee with cashew milk so it's been easy. Hoping to see big results from these efforts!

That alcohol made the scale jump up and put me in danger of not winning my DietBet. Did a salt free potato day and ended up down a pound from before Christmas.

I re-read Presto by Penn Jillette for inspiration and am working on trying to see how long I can go fasting 16 hours per day. There was the line in the book that talked about training yourself to experience hunger as the feeling of fat being burned and that's pretty powerful. I also am reminded that if I want to meet my goal and be able to maintain after my birthday, it's okay to be a little crazy. My "rare and appropriate" vodka can now not be more frequent than once every two weeks. Because it was clearly a problem for me on Christmas. Also going to do more potato days. If I come home at lunch, I could have fries for lunch. Not bad.

Saw the derby girls last night at bowling and got lots of compliments on my weight loss - score!!

Ate good stuff at Christmas, but probably too much. Definitely too much booze. It made me weepy and sad. I'll likely have a glass or 2 for New Years, but then none until derby party. Also contemplating eating only potatoes and sweet potatoes Jan 1-14.
