Try skipping ice cream before bed, it's disrupted my early morning practice. This has been a bumpy week. Yesterday, my chocolate was the incentive that saved me.

This stuff ain't easy. Let me tell you. One focus is hard as hell but simple than it sounds.

Yesterday, I started to dread to sit down and meditate and that's not the mindset I need to have. So I shortened the time and it just felt much better. Time is not the best metric for this exercise either. I would do well to remember that.

I've stuck to meditating. I did my own solo 20 minute sessions in place of the body scans. Classes start this week and I need to be more diligent about waking early and doing it before anyone gets home. Or else my session will be cut short.
