Getting into a choppy zone where in plain words I am not satisfied as to how our relationship is going. Where I look at a relationship as the two of us forming a new unit, he is so consumed and subsumed in his family unit that not sure we can achieve that. Relationships with his family come first in his life -- he took the wrong job because the employer was a friend of his dad. He is interested in another job because the employer is the best friend of his dad's friend. I'm just not like that. Issue is whether he wants me to join him and his family instead of wanting to strike out the two of us.

Got in touch with someone else on Bumble. Didn't even think about it, really. It just happened.

Saw Andy Monday night because he had an interview in town and was incredibly jazzed up afterwards. I really like him. In spite of weird lack of physical completeness. It's so strange to be in a platonic relationship, but I think of Annie and Joe, and we are about the same level of physical contact. So I am starting my third life like a seventy-year old couple. Oh well...

Andy came over to stay at the house for the first time. It gave me the energy and impetus to completely change my bedroom and have a bedroom and a living room. We had a great time. I guess it is becoming more serious.

Kind of touch and go really. Seems like we are only spending time together outside of our respective environments. Sarah says it's not bad, that if I brought him home it would be too much for the kids. Next travel is the cruise. His aunt says his family are simple people living simple lives. His life fits in a shoebox. I am so bigger than that...
