Even just getting out of bed at 7am allows me more time in the morning than I imagined. I'm able to relax with my morning tea or take my time putting on my make-up and still make it to work at an early time. I guess it's more important to be consistent than to wake up extremely early. I'm thinking that I won't have to get up as early as I thought to accomplish everything I want to. My next goal is 16 weeks of 6:45. I wonder how much of a difference 15 minutes will make. I guess I'll find out because there's no way I can afford to stay in bed! |

I definitely didn't feel awake every morning but I was out of bed. I like getting up at the same time every day and then having the freedom to decide what to do. If I'm feeling especially tired or it's a Monday I may relax, have my tea at the kitchen table and enjoy the quiet morning. Or if I'm feeling especially energetic or have a big project at work, I may get to work early. Having this freedom once I'm up is better than being flexible with my wake-up time. I use my time better and do what's best for me from day to day. |
