January 4th through 7th, did not wake up at 6:00 a.m. or earlier. I still got up early-ish most days, but certainly did not meet my goal. |

January 3rd: Woke up at 6:00 a.m. Groggily hit snooze once and then stayed in bed but forced myself to stay awake and talk to Natalie. I hauled myself out of bed around 6:40 a.m. but already felt motivated. I then went downstairs and journaled while eating oatmeal. I read a couple pages in my book. Did a workout while watching the Office. Vacuumed the third floor. Took the trash out and loaded the charity items into my truck. Once at the office I wrote Chris' recommendation for business school. I did all this before 9:00 a.m. My morning would have been even better if I'd gotten out of bed straight away. That will happen tomorrow, though, because there will be no post-lunch naps today because I brought my lunch, meaning I will be exhausted come 10 p.m. |

January 2nd: Did not get up at 6:00 a.m. I need to get to bed sooner. I stayed up past midnight cleaning up my email and doing chores. If I spread out my chores throughout the week (20 minutes a day) then I would have no problem hitting my sleep goals. |
