And one extra kg for the hell of it

Meals-wise: I stuck to the easy-peasy staples from the last week - the protein/lettuce/avocado salad with caesar, a taco bowl, nothing that I haven't photographed multiple times over the last 6 weeks (which was the most regrettable stipulation of this commitment). That said... I did stick to keto-friendly meals and am happy to report that not only did I reach my goal, I went 1 kg further.

Challenge #2 starts today and, unfortunately/fortunately, I'm not able to get in "my steps" but I can still continue to make good choices.

Current weight: 135kg
Total lost: 7kg

I would definitely call this a success

While not such a big jump, I'm not terribly disappointed by this week's results. Actually, I'm happy that I was able to even make some progress. I suppose the "disappointment" lies mostly with the fact that I made a huge jump when I started, but as I've progressed it's been more steady rather than these leaps and bounds of weight loss. That said, I am glad that I am progressing in a way that doesn't feel too much like I am torturing myself or basically relying on endless reserves of willpower (that I don't actually have). Dialing back from the constant measuring and tracking has also helped it feel less like a chore. And at the end of this all, I am able to basically have something like an average of 1kg per week that's 2.2 lbs/ week and basically a really healthy way to do it.

Hit of the week: I've eaten this steak/avocado/hard-boiled egg salad for lunch and dinner like 2 days in a row it's way easy to prep and the caesar dressing is yum and surprisingly keto-conform for a store-bought dressing.

Miss of the week: I made a chicken curry dish that tasted good, but I put a gag-load of zucchini in it, never remembering that next-day cooked zucchini is mushy and kinda gross (and then I had to eat it again for lunch)

Current weight: 136.5
Total lost: 5.5 (half a kilo to go!)

As previously mentioned, this was probably the least documented week (photographically) because I just keep eating the same dang thing most days. I am not having super huge sugar cravings and don't even always have dessert. It generally feels manageable. I've also started prepping for the next challenge, which is more or less the same, but less food documenting and more fitbit documenting.

This week was probably the worst in taking pictures of my food, but also some of best meals I've had in general. Taco salad, the fake "spaghetti" bolognese, the spanish ibérico sausage -- and most of all my discovery of keto chocolate mousse, which has helped stave off my sweet tooth and can be either frozen like ice cream. I think that next week I should be really close to hitting my goal and could potentially exceed it. But I will try to just hit it at the very least. Current weight: 137,7kg Total lost: 4,3kg Winner of the week: Keto chocolate mousse Loser of the week: there was kind of a bunk salad up in there... wasn't the worst, but wasn't the best.
