My fundamentals went down the drain here. I saw Valeria then started staying up late, not eating well, not exercising then started watching because I cant get enough of what I dont need. The trick is to balance work, play and REST. My goal is to cover my fundamentals and have a zero policy rule for video games when I'm not socializing with them. Losing $150 hurts, alot. That is roughly half my 1/3 current pay check. That is 1.3 weeks of work for 30 minutes of guilty pleasure that is hurting my self respect, intimacy and will power. I will not make this mistake for the rest of the time, I promise. Not virtual, artificial stimulation. I choose to Meditate, workout, socialize and rest. I choose to pursue meaning over pleasure. Pursue sustainability over short cuts and binges. |
