SerenissimoPrincipe commits to:
Attack my chronic, compulsive procrastination and its deleterious effects on my life management and well-being by working with best-effort focus and efficiency for a minimum of 45 minutes per day on what I've identified as my most urgent task or tasks*, with the aim of replacing the habit of procrastinating on important tasks with the habit of completing them in a timely, conscientious manner.
* This must not include preparatory project or task planning.

Strategy: Build up to target behaviour in tiny increments (nudging). ___________________________________________________________________________________ 1) Today at the latest: Simply work on listing, planning & prioritising my most urgent tasks & projects. (Very easy, because I find this to be a low-aversion, even somewhat enjoyable, task.) ___________________________________________________________________________________ 2) Tomorrow at the latest: Complete 5 minutes focused work on top priority action(s). ___________________________________________________________________________________ 3) Each consecutive period (minimum frequency: daily): Complete 10 mins, then 15, etc., until target behaviour reached. ___________________________________________________________________________________ |
