While I did complete the course, I wasn't too satisfied with my pace. However, the more I learn, the faster I get, I suppose and the easier it gets to get things done. Like I might have mentioned before, I'm going to do a small committment to read all the way through the book I purchased called, JavaScript: The Good Parts. Thanks for keeping me accountable! I aim to continue to learn and eventually change my career and continue to create and build things. The next steps are for me to continue learning React and complete a few of my own projects to build a competitive portfolio.

I should create a commitment for each project I come up with. Any ideas? I'd like these projects to be Web Apps. I'd like to do another React web app as well as a Flutter project.

The Flutter project needs to be completed before the next Flutter Study Jam at Google, and I'll need to provide screenshots and proof to the flutter slack channels. In order to get started on that project, I'll need to complete the code labs while relying on the slack channel to assist in problems I encounter due to my all-around inexperience. There's also a deeply discounted Udacity course they've made available to the community.

I'll still review this React course's materials and work on improving and adding features, preparing myself for my own project.

Once the above are complete, I'll move onto another React project of my own. Not sure what I'll do exactly yet, but I think I have a list of brainstorming ideas that I made a little bit ago.

After that or concurrent with the Flutter project, I might begin a course for React Native -- not sure how it's different from React.js, but I'll find out. I've also heard that Angular is useful. Down the line, I'd also like to learn Full stack.

Not to overwhelm myself or anything. Thank you for your support!!

Brad Traversy — on youtube, explains React really well.
—check out fundamentals

Flutter Study Jam Udacity course:
Checkin once a week, usually on Sunday at 9 oclock
Watch videos, do project

Lesson 1: The Flutter Framework -- Nitya presented: https://jams18-kickoff.flutter.fyi

Show proof you worked on the projects.

Dartpad, lets you try out Dart code and play around

Flutter: everything is a widget

Udacity UD905 -- signed on through google.

Twitter: @flutterfyi

App as 'tree as widgets'
StatelessWidgets are immutable -- no state => no triggering rebuilds
StatelessWidgers

Build a unit converter project

Material Design -- Lesson 2, Martin presenting

Goal:
October 1st, bring a working Flutter app to show Nitya and Martin.

Submitted my repository on GitHub to the project on codeacademy for review. This way I at least get a reviewer to look at it and get more info.

I’ll continue to work on it.
