I commit to keeping my caloric intake to under 2200 calories a day until I drop down to 200 lbs. Then I will lower my calories to 1800. Avoid eating out and soda except on special occasions.

I finally did it. I had a couple of mishaps but we cannot expect perfection. I will celebrate tonight by having a 32 oz porterhouse at my favorite steakhouse.

I was snowed in for three days. In the blizzard, I started running out of food. Had to eat junk food to sustain myself. This still makes it a failure. There are no excuses.

I did okay this week. On my cheat day, I only had one bottle of soda and an egg mcmuffin. However, I took out the muffin, cheese, bacon, and only ate the egg. My waist has gotten larger. For anyone following, the true measure of a successful diet is not whether you lose weight but whether your measurements decrease.

I didn't do well on this. What with the holiday this past week? I ate pizza and soda two days in a row on New Year's Eve and Day. It is really simple: STAY AWAY from pizza and soda! They are my Achilles heel.
