1. Do not succumb to despair or bitterness – stay pumped and positive
2. Get out of bed with energy every morning 3. No caffeine / chocolate in quantities that will mess you up 4. Back to wait-an-hour heuristic for eating after meals 5. No more junk food (e.g. any added sugar) unless offered in a social context 6. No spicy food before bed (consider gum for desperate self-control situations) 7. Take hours seriously again and try to reach your target 8. No more FaceBook or Guardian even on phone
