Very good start to the week. Couldn’t do cross training yesterday but I did manage to run this afternoon on the treadmill. Went very well

First week of the training program me done and dusted. I’m proud of myself. I will do better this coming week. As I skipped hill training this past week.

I took a break today, felt a bit of a discomfort in the groin area so I feel better now. I will be doing the same route on Saturday for training purposes. And Basi has a different schedule so won’t worry much about training with her unless she wants us to. Going to take it easy otherwise and also our goals are very different so I don’t want to put myself under too much pressure as that will lead to injuries and dislike for the sport.

Day 3 of the training for the Cape Town Marathon and it’s going well. Did the Kumo 10km and it was slower than anticipated but great given the time trial we did last night. I feel great!
