I did well with eating most of the week except for one day in particular. We'll see what the damage is for that.
As for working out, I did well considering I had a bad cold for the last two weeks.
Saturday I went to the gym to do my version of a WOD:
20 Ball Crunches
1min hold Superman
50 Air Squats (rpt 2x)
Finisher:
10 bridges
10 one legged bridges
30 bridges
Muscles worked: Abs, lower/mid back, quads, hams
Aftewards: I felt shaky, however during the workout I experianced fatigue w/o pain. Now 36 hrs later I have the most pain in this order:
Quads
Back
Abs
Hams (hardly)
Ideas for next WOD?
30 Ball Crunches
Up to 50 Bulgarian sqats OR one leg squats
(rest Air squats)
1.25min Supermans
15 One Leg Bridges
50 Bridges |

Things just got very easy. I am NO LONGER INTIMIDATED BY WORKING OUT since I know I can torch a lot of calories at a comfortably hard pace for about an hour rather than intense all the time. Also I settled into a comfortable, cheap, healthy eating plan. It took a lot of haggling with prices, nutritional details, taste preferance...but I got it down. I have the visible progress to motivate me as well. The only thing that bothers me is all of the downtime I've had to take...5 days for the hip flexor and almost 14 days now for the cold/flu/bronchitis. A little discouraging, but I lost 5.6 through NO TIME WAS WASTED. I've got what it takes, nothing can stop me. |
