| I ran and finished, and forgot all about the time goal! It was a beautiful fall day and I enjoyed every minute of it, especially the last .2 up the hill to the Iwo Jima memorial, shook hands with EVERY marine. Awesome race! | |

| Official marathon training program starts July 1st!!! Today I ran 10 miles in 80 degree heat without stopping......almost ready to start training in earnest. I have to lose weight and get my 1 mile time down by 1 min. and 18 seconds to make my goal. | |
