This week went well again. I continued to stay within my goals. I find that I like to have a snack or small dessert in the evening, so to make up for this I tend to eat a very small breakfast and very light lunch. Like a hard boiled egg for breakfast and small salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and fat free salad dressing for lunch. I think that I'd like to set up another 5 weeks and keep going with it. It was very easy to use My Fitness Pal, so even if I don't do another commitment contract, I will keep using My Fitness Pal. It can easier the longer I did it and became a second nature to eat then input the information into the application.

This week went well again. I'm more on track than the previous week. I am consuming fewer than 1700 calories per day. I'm averaging around 1600-1650 per day, which is great! I'm feeling better. In order to cut calories, I am eating less sugar, including sugars "hidden" in foods. Things like bread and yogurt have sugar that I didn't pay attention to. I haven't stopped eating those things, but I am eating less of them and I can feel the difference. I have been able to curb some sugar cravings by having an apple or banana in the afternoon. They are lower calorie snacks that I enjoy. My referee/husband has been very supportive and is cooking meals that are both delicious and well-rounded. I'm looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

This week was still a good week. One plus is that I've noticed by clothes fitting a little looser! I'm getting used to counting calories throughout the day and am a better judge of how many calories are in the foods I'm selecting. With all of the Halloween candy my daughter got this year, it's been a little more challenging the past couple of days. I've had some candy, but counted it towards my daily goal. My Fitness Pal continues to be helpful and easy to use. Having an application on my phone is so easy to update because I almost always have my phone near me. I'm looking forward to more progress over the next few weeks!

It is getting easier to keep track of my calorie intake. I'm less tempted to stray from my plan. It helps having the contract in the kitchen, it serves as a good reminder of what I will get if I keep myself on track.

I ear the same breakfast and lunch each day and that makes it very easy to use the My Fitness Pal application because all of the information is saved in the app. I only have to search for and measure out my dinner items. That can be challenging sometimes. I often forgot that even the couple tablespoons of butter or oil used in cooking have to counted. That is not something you think about until you're tracking and logging all of your calories for the day. Hopefully next week will be just as successful!
