glickhouse commits to:
Love her out in a way I didn't love her in. In this case it means I will honor my commitments while not allowing her to take advantage of me. I need to focus on what I can do, and understand she is looking for and expecting conflict. If I do not react there is a chance I will be seen for what I am rather than the ghost she sees. I can't control any of it anyway. I have to let her be and understand she is doing the best she can right now. I just have to do the best I can as well.

| For this week I have. I have been more direct and firm in my dealings, but have held back being angry. There was a brief period this afternoon where i almost crossed the line, but by being stunned more than anything. | |

| I was goo for he most part this week until some details surfaced of current activities I can't abide. Instead of stepping away and not communicating or caring anymore as I should I allowed my emotions to win not my will. I understand what led to it, but let the anger go this time. | |

| Had a conversation last evening and this am which is solidifying the death of my relationship with my wife. I finally am realizing that the leaving wasn't about me. It is interesting when you find out the new male interest is 23 when you stay home and take care of her 22 year old kid. I didn't react in any way but mostly neutral. I did mention I just don't understand, but as I have moved forward I accept it is not for me to understand. Her path to healing is obviously different than mine, but it is hers. Mine is to continue to be a better man day over day and commit to actions which get me there. | |
