:Evening Devotional: Teaching is sharing information, while training integrates that teaching into a lifestyle. Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go I will counsel you and watch over you." God, Please use me to show my children that you have blessed me with, Your love, and Your mercy. So that they will know and serve You all the days of their lives. Help me to guide and govern my children.

:Morning Devotional: Be thankful, for everyday is a gift from God! Psalm 118:24 "This is the day which the Lord hath made we will rejoice and be glad in it." Lamentations 3:22-23 "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness"2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation the old has gone, the new has come!"

Evening Devotional
The Christian Life is a JOURNEY not a Destination, Acknowledge Him, and he will show you the way. In the wonderful twisted story of Jacob and Esau, (Genesis 33) Jacob is scared to meet his brother Esau, because Jacob stole his brothers blessing from his father by pretending to be him. When Jacobs 'parade' was over and the brothers had finally met each other face to face, Jacob fears were lifted, because Esau had forgiven him. What a relief to know that We as Christians are forgiven as well! We may not have stolen our brothers blessings, but we all have sinned. Only by believing in Jesus Christ and repentance are we allowed into the kingdom of our God and savior. Just as how Esau allowed his brother Jacob back into his life. Esau, forgiving Jacob said "Let us take our journey and go, and I will go before you." Genesis 33:12.
Proverbs 3:6 says "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight." Acknowledge Him by repenting, and forgiving another brother that has hurt you. Acknowledge Him through love, by showing compassion to His children, your brother or sister in Christ. Acknowledge Him, by giving up your time and giving it back to Him by learning more about His ways, and His desires (not your own).

Morning Devotional Being a Godly Wife. The scripture that stood out the most, was Ephesians 5:24 "As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything"
EVERYTHING! God help me! I am no where near being a Godly wife. I desire to please YOU Lord...develop in me YOUR character. "A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones." Proverbs 12:4 Lord, give me the patience, compassion and the heart to constantly and continually crown my husband, to please You. Lord, shut my mouth, and protect my tongue from being set on fire by Hell (James 3). Because I love my husband, and I love my King. "but the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13 Praise You Jesus for Your Love and Mercy, on my marriage, in my life and in my husbands life as well.

Hey HonuGirl. I like what you said about trusting and believing God. I love what it says about trusting the Savior and believing His promises in Isaiah 26:3-4. Also, one of my favorite scriptures says, "He looketh down upon all the children of men and he knows all the thoughts and intents of the heart for by his hand were they all created from the beginning." We are children of a loving Heavenly Father who knows us and will help us fulfill our purposes. Thanks for the awesome devotional/thought :)

Jesus said, "I do not seek my own will but the will of the father who has sent me" (John 5:30) Even though it we may not know what God wants us to do, and His purpose may seem more and more vague everyday The work we do is nothing compared to the compelling purpose of God. TRUST. BELIEVE. LOVE. Move to glorify HIM. Even though our purpose may seem unclear, we should do what is right. God will let us know when our hearts are ready. "He took his twelve aside..." Luke 18:31 and God takes us aside all the time, because we have not understood ALL there is to know of the compelling purpose of God. John 15:16 says, "you did not choose ME, but I chose you."

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
