Hi Pavel, I'm sorry for being absent for such a long time. I've been so busy lately, and that doesn't seem like changing any time soon. :( I'm studying for a university entrance exam, so it's really important. I hope things are alright up in there. :)

Hey, thanks, I did very well this week, it's still quite hard though. But yeah, it feels so good when we do the right choice, doesn't it? :) Btw, it's awfully hard to get regular sleep but I know you can make it. :D

OK, my "no stupidly wasted time on-line" commitment finished, just 33 % success rate, not something to be particularly proud of. To be honest, I was pretty strict on myself. I started the same (or similar) commitment again, with focus against late night browsing (usually between midnight and 2:00AM is the time when I am not up for serious work or studying yet not up for bed either, so I browse "funny videos" and TV series (nothing wrong with TV series, but I can't allow them to worsen my sleep-cycle) and generally waste time. Thank you, Karen and Barnabas, my great supporters, for supporting me in this project, I know at least half of the successful periods are your doing. Thanks!

To Barnabas: yeah, if you ever come to Prague, lunch is on me. I went to United Kingdom, looking for good literature on how media report on science news, or, from agenda-setting point of view, how science news are born. And it was a fruitful visit, I learned about another perspective how one can approach this research - to view science as a cultural product and in it's cultural context. Then it makes suddenly sense how media distort science. Not that I agree with that. Great book, that dedicates chapter or two to this problem, is "Bad Science" from Ben Goldacre.

Howdy! Yay, I have friends! Can I eat at your lunch table now? =P Ok, I guess that's enough obnoxiousness for now... Out of curiosity, what different country did you go to? And what was your study project?

This week I went to different country to work on my study project. Anyway, it has been refreshing and I am being quite productive. I watched few episodes of tv series but this time I didn't waste time by that I think. Facebook becomes slightly annoying, though. Anyway, here I can appreciate how much internet connects me with my friends, but also how it makes it easier to lose focus.

I've caught a bit of cold so not exercising too much now, I try to work out with dumbbells at least twice a day and doing some sit-ups, too. No pointless surfing for TV series today, but I did some on-line shopping, a bit impulsive, I admit.

I went to the gym and signed in, I got the meassurements, too. My BMI is 21.6, not bad. And I need to loose cca 1 kg of fat to gain the ideal. The trainer advised me to focus on muscle gaining, the weight-loss would come as a side effect. I went swimming for 40 minutes and sauna for 40 minutes, overall, good day for my health.
