| Today I didn’t communicate well with Jeniece about needing to stay at work a little later. We had plans to see David Sedaris after work. Coming home 30 minutes late led to Jeniece feeling as though she wasn’t a priority and decreased our date time to enjoy a cocktail. It really hurt her feelings. Family is more important than work. Make sure you are always sending this message clearly. Choose wisely. When you look back, you won’t reflect and wish you had spent more time at work. | |
