I worked a lot of overtime this past week. One of the things that makes waking up early to work on art work for me is that I have to make sure I go to bed early. That means going to bed by 10PM at the latest. usually closer to 9:30, but this past week there were a couple nights I didn't finish wrapping up work until past midnight. Without observing a rolling 3 days 7 hr/night sleep average, the lack of sleep starts to affect my mood, my performance, and my ability to control my emotions and I need those things to be an effective parent so... that's a fail :( |

I haven't managed to keep up with my 7 hr sleep average, due to work. But with sleeping in the last 2 days I managed to make it to 7hrs/night 3 days rolling, which means if I wake up the next 2 days I still can manage 4 early wake ups this week. If I manage to make it 4 nights, I'll still take it as a win as I've got a big work presentation tomorrow morning, so it has taken priority a bit. |
