I have stopped this challenge about 15 days in due to the discomfort and drag on performance from not getting enough sleep. I do want to eventually be waking up by 630 every morning. I think a better way to achieve this is to 1) workout everyday 2) not eat close to bedtime 3) eliminate all screens and start reading at 830. This would be a better goal to set and I would allow myself to sleep in as much as I want. Likely I would end up going to bed by 10 and waking up between 6-7 with 8-9 hours of sleep. This will also allow me to grow through reading, exercise, better sleep and consciously detatch from work everyday. |

Today will work on 1) DRD (trying to finish), calculate sample size for clinical trial (put 3 pomodoros on designing the stats), respond to Jan's email RE CEO and money. Respond to Kathy McGee's email. This week I will finalize registration for the clinical trial, reach out to John Iverson for UCSD contacts, and finish the clinical trial protocol with statistical analysis. |

Been sleeping in because the lack of sleep hits too hard. Need to go to sleep earlier. |

Another rough day... D027 had a placebo response. I am worried we wont be able to differentiate between real and sham despite extremely strong results. Our placebo response will be higher than most trials response. We still need 3 more patients to finish the trial. We can also continue running patients till we get significance again. I feel good I did not lie about the randomization. that would have hurt my self esteem for years. Also got breakthrough application denied. Now we know we need to design our trials to monitor subjects longer and also compare to Standard of Care. |
