I'm deep in suuzin's debt, but I need to re-negotiate an ongoing commitment that doesn't include potential financial penalties. (My Wife would insist.) I propose this: I will be bound to this book--and its sequel(s), if any--forever. I will always try to do whatever suuzin asks of me, but she can *demand* up to two hours of work in any given week. If I ever fail to meet such a demand, then she has the right, on four future occasions, to demand four hours in a week. For any 4-hr quota I fail to make, she gains the right to eight 8-hr weeks. (She gets to choose which weeks.) And so on. I hope this is acceptable to her. If so, perhaps we can use Stickk to "keep score" and record progress once every 8 weeks (say). I would create an 8-week "Serve the Tribe" contract plus an 8-week "Renew Tribal Commitment" contract at the start of each period. I like this idea because it creates an infinite loop: once initiated, there would be no escape. |
