Set aside 8 hours a week for writing during the rest of the academic year. No email, no Facebook or Tumblr, no phone, no chores, no planning, no recreational reading, no trying on of more comfortable clothes, no personal hygiene, no making of an elaborate snack, etc. Write or do nothing.
