I have decided to use my journal as a chance to record my victories beyond what the scale says. I want to be able to look back and see the positive choices add up.

So, today, I had 100 calories left over to use after dinner. I wanted to eat some of my chocolate Easter bunny, but I decided to make a healthier choice and ate 3/4 cup cantaloupe and a kiwi.

This is a victory, because I did not just focus on the calories, I really started to consider what would most benefit my health.
