This was a weird week, in that I felt somewhat removed from maintaining the site. I need to more thoughtfully examine how and whether I want to move forward to it. But considering my lack of commitment, the blog did well. Neither entry was spectacular, but both were solid. Without much effort on social media, the pieces garnered significant attention. I may have a future in this business, if it's something I want to pursue! |

Kind of a bumpy week in terms of my commitment, though it showed glimmers of promise. My Wednesday piece was well conceived and received good attention. The other two were forced, and I made little effort to promote them. Social media showed gradual growth, particularly at the beginning of the week when I very actively posted. My content reached ~150 people unpaid, with an additional 450 paid, and earned the page several new likes. In terms of my effort, then, the week could be considered mediocre. Still, it gave some cause for optimism. |

| The week got off to a bumpy start. My piece on the police circle-jerk in Pelham was gimmicky and not well-written. (Of course, then, it got a lot of attention.) Meanwhile, the advertisement I bought only garnered four page likes for $10. Then, things began slowing down at work, and I adopted a more organic approach to the blog. I easily surpassed my Facebook post quota, and my two other pieces were of better quality. A more targeted advertisement brought 19 page likes for a little more than $7.00, and I'm tinkering the target demographics to learn more about my audience, and market the blog even better in the future. My hope is that we're beginning to turn a preliminary corner, and the blog will have at least a tiny audience by the time the contract is over. | |

The referee report was somehow cut off. It continues, "...to engage with others’ posts on the Twitter community. This brings up an interesting situation, as the contract change failed to also change the break-time requirement of 20 Twitter posts on the blog’s Twitter page, which Seth did not achieve. I am in favor of waiving this issue and immediately correcting this section of the contract. Facebook numbered 11 posts. Blog posts were properly promoted on Facebook, but only one post promotion was on Twitter, not meeting the requirement. Seth posted twice on the blog during the week, of quality at least equal to “1.5 posts” with one post having a little more thought put into it than the other." |

First off, I'd like to note an impressive amount of Facebook posts this week-- 19! As for the blog, it's a safe 1.5 posts. On Twitter we only have 5 posts, but the community involvement has remained at a high level.
