| I've just been going through Engelmann's Theory of Direct Instruction so far, since I like continuity. It's quite dense and a lot of it is 'useless' because I'm not going to be designing a curriculum from the ground up, but I hope that after I go through a reading or two that I will be able to glean actionable info. It's really rigorous - it's an actual scientific theory, so it needs to be - definitely a pleasant surprise. | |
