| I didn't meet my commitment this past week. I slipped at the final moments. I'll be honest - I was tempted to ignore this commitment and lie about my success in order to avoid paying that $50. In fact, I even used that as an excuse to look at pornography and masturbate. Well...never again. I made a commitment to be honest and that's what I'm going to do. If that means I lose $50 to planned parenthood, than so be it. I just need to make sure that from this point on, I keep my commitment to quit pornography and masturbation. | |

| Here we go...I'm back at it. I finished the last commitment with great success, but about a month after I fell back into the pornography trap. Moving in and being by myself was more difficult than I anticipated. I allowed myself to get lost in my thoughts and to feel sorry for myself. I was foolish and threw away 6 months of sobriety. I am not going to give up. Repentance is always an option - no matter what I've done or where I am at. As long as I am living on this earth, I can repent of my sins. The divorce with Kirsten is moving forward quickly now and we will most likely file within the next few weeks. By the time this commitment contract is complete I will be divorced. It is a sobering and sad thought. I wish I had lived my life the way I was supposed to while married. I didn't - and now I'm left to live with that. But that's the thing, I'm alive and as long as I'm alive I will continue to move forward with this commitment. I can do this. I will do this and I will reclaim the life that I have left. | |
