I did it! Over the past 13 weeks I have definitely become more moderate, and I'm now able to go a week without significant difficulty. Learning to sit with sexual energy has been a long-time challenge for me. This commitment has helped me move in the right direction in a big way. Feeling proud. Letting go of outmoded ways of being is the key to having a life of abundance in the present and the future. What I was doing wasn't working. I'm now prepared to do something new. |

It's hard to believe how quickly this time is passing. 13 weeks sounded like a short eternity not too long ago, and now I'm already in the middle of week 8. Not masturbating for longer periods of time is getting more and more normal. Pretty soon I'll be down to only once per week! |

Hanging in and feeling good about my progress. I'm definitely feeling more alive without constantly medicating with masturbation. Feels good to feel good again. Great way to ring in the new year. |

As I near the end of my 5th week of avoidoing pornography and porn substitutes, it is time for me to add another committment to my list. Currently I only seem to be able to make it 2 or 3 days between MO sessions, and I want to reduce that to once every 8 days.
I'm hoping to build good habits over the next 13 weeks that will eventually allow me to move away from self stimulation completely. This effort represents the first of a multi-phase project.
To do this I'll be following the "weening" schedule below. It starts off easy and gets progressively more challenging. Here's the schedule I plan to stickK to :-)
