Have My First Niche Store Up And Ru... Star this Commitment

DavinOgden commits to:
Got the Ecommerce store software I'd wanted, and it's awesome. So I'm ready to make a commitment. This is a little different that what I'm used to. I need to contact drop shippers by telephone and make sure they are honest and ethical suppliers and also try and get the best profit margins. I'm told this could take up to a week. Due to the learning curve of the software..and since it's a new road, I'm going to set this first goal for Jan 30th in case of glitches. Can use all the support I can ge

Yes, well thanx very much for the comments and support guys. The niche was fully researched, and the numbers looked great. It's apparently a very rare occasion that dropshippers can't be found for sourcing many things, but, this just happened to be one of those rare occasions. I seen other places handling the products, but, they were either owners of the products or affiliates. But, oh well, there are plenty of niches that I will find dropshippers for...that's what first attempts are all about..learning! Cheers and I'll let you know when I take on number two..should only be a day or two. Thanx again...Dav

I give you kudos for trying, the store site is very inviting . . . too bad it's not flying.

Not knowing you well, but for me I'd probably start with locating a source for my product,s then build around it. It's a good lesson for us all and . . . now you know how to build a store.

Hey Davin, I would still consider it a success - the obstacle that held you back is something pretty much out of your control. And you gained some great experience with setting everything up. I'm not sure if you knew this but for some reason I was not notified of your report so I was just checking in now to find you had submitted an update. I look forward to supporting you with any future goals and thanks again for supporting me! If you need anything just message or email me anytime. Take care, Jerry

Well, unfortunately guys, I have to report this as a unaccomplished goal. After doing everything we could to find suppliers for these machines, the best Dave Hermanson and his team could find was found a place where I could buy the machines wholesale, stock them myself, and then sell them in the store. Well, I certainly was not willing to do that, for quality machines this would have cost me thousands of dollars. To just go ahead and do that in a brand new niche, didn't make a lot of sense to me. So, nonetheless, I did learn a lot through the experience. I am going to get back at it with another niche and make sure I can find suppliers first before I go ahead and install the store! I suppose I can still use that last domain I had registered and sell them as an affiliate with some "review site" software I have, but, as for finding drop shippers it was a lost cause unfortunately. Once I decide on which niche I'm going after next, I'll make sure I can find suppliers, and then place another goal in here. I do thank you all for your support!
