| the punishment report, that was missing: The violation happened when I did an interruption in order to search for news and information about one specific topic. It was something related to a political scenario that I’m living now, so it was something important, and, due to this, I thought I could simply interrupt my work and search about it. What I should have done, instead, was to take a note and leave it to the appropriate time, which is what I usually do, and is a very simple and easy procedure. The question is why I didn’t follow that rule, and did something different. To answer this, I think it is important to note that I didn’t notice that I was violating when I did it. So, what caused the problem was the memory loss about things that are prohibited. I hope that punishment will be enough to make me keep it in mind again. Besides, there’s an overall drop of severity in the control of the activities that represent inappropriate distraction during working time. So, I must recommit to them, and start noting and punishing when they happen. For future changes, I must consider that an improvement would be to have a very clear line separating what’s considered appropriate activities and what is prohibited. There’s some activities that are specially dubious, and must be previously delimited, because doing that during work usually makes me tend to be more flexible. Important to note that I could notice the negative effects of the violation, which is a less focused mind during work. | |
