seeing a bit more vascularity in my arms. bodyweight was 201 last night. bodyweight isn't the most important thing in the world, but it is something. Nothing on me is really squishy. I have a thin layer of fat all over and it's not noticeable in clothes; however, as fat drops all over my body, face fat drops too. Face fat is ALL that matters in the winter, when no one could possibly know that you lift. It's -15 C (5 F) and your body is buried in a heavy coat. Even if you're superman and you can take the abuse, wearing a tank top and jeans makes you look retarded. Girls don't go for retards.

I'll add this excellent article on face fat in case someone (anyone?) is reading this and it helps him out: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwj0ra2Q0qrfAhUiUt8KHZ9-DmQQFjAAegQIBhAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.goodlookingloser.com%2Flaid%2Ffundamentals%2Flooks-and-style%2Fhow-to-be-good-looking-how-much-losing-face-fat-can-help-your-sex-appeal-with-40-pictures&usg=AOvVaw12uNtVa0f7-RQWWExaHS-w

I've shifted my emphasis away from lifting and onto cardio. So far, it seems the stair-stepper machines are the best, but just today I tried one of those rowing machines with actual water in them. I think that's going to end up better. More reading/doing will tell the tale. I still lift, but I do a lot less. I basically just do shrugs, curling, cable crossovers and shoulder stuff. I've also cut back volume. I basically pretend that I'm a normal human that gets sore after lifting (still hasn't happened yet, btw). I do four sets of ten for most stuff. I want to see what I look like without this thin layer of fat smoothing me out.

I'm doing a lot of fasting. Everyone says "how do you fast so much and not hate life?!" So far it's impossible to find a limit where I don't feel awesome. I restrict my eating to four or five hours most days and experiment with long periods of fasting. I've gone up to 26 hours without food (just protein powder at the end of the day). I realize I'm flirting with shutting my metabolism down, so I bracket my days now with cardio in the morning and again in the evening. Been shooting for "300 calories" (according to the machine) each session. I think that'll force my body to burn fat at a level comparable to someone who is eating the "standard-ish" a-couple-hundred-calories-under-maintenance kind of cutting diet.

For recent indicators of progress, I guess all I can say for sure is that I'm more vascular. The blood vessels are just blue lines and they don't pop out of my skin at all yet, except for a little bit while I'm actually in the middle of a set. @lukeswole I don't document anything really anymore or use any apps (don't even own a smartphone), I just found it to be a waste of time.

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but this is the body I'm going for:

I guess I should add to all of these that the "unsuccessful periods" are just me being unable to find the time to write before the report becomes "overdue". In actuality, I haven't missed a day and am just ecstatic about how well this is going for me. Girls don't ignore me anymore. I get either very positive or very negative reactions - nothing in between. I don't really get indifference at any kind of high level.
