| Over the last three days, I finished plate 2 and did the tracings. They’re all larger than the original, except the last one matches up well. Mostly, the proportions overall are slightly but noticeably off; however, smaller parts of them are internally consistent. So, breaking drawings into smaller chucks, checking their restive size, and filling them in should make things more accurate | |

| Traced all the eyes out. They actually look decent. There are some small errors in proportions and spacing, and they get better as it goes along. Really, the differences are in the subtle curvatures, angles, lengths, and spatial separations/gaps between different parts. I think that for a more completed drawing, spending time at this stage measuring and adjusting would do a lot to make the accuracy quite striking, and I think that sight-size would also help deal with these problems. | |

Finished the last four eyes from the plate. Remembered a few things: 1. Stay back from drawings with posture to get a better view of both paper and reference 2. Fill things in more globally to get proportions better |
