| After an awesome week before, this past week had a couple of struggling sorts of days when I felt overwhelmed etc, but I was able to get in the minimum practice daily. I've learned that it's better to do even a very small amount that nothing, so I don't feel awful about those days because before making this commitment, I wouldn't have done a thing. So something is better than nothing, and I kept my commitment to myself! | |

| kicking butt - I have now established a consistent habit, and I get annoyed when something interferes, so the threat of giving money to a charity I don't want to give money to has been quite beneficial, and I won't hesitate to use this method again if I fear I will give up doing something important. (Like quitting smoking, but first Spanish...) | |

| This has been great for me - I've now established patterns and I can't imagine not doing at least an hour or so of Spanish daily. I took "a day off" the other day and still studied for over an hour, read and listened to music in Spanish. Yay - I've formed a healthy habit. | |
