This weekend was the beginning of the next act of my life... The culmination of everything before this moment, and the opening number of the next act of me and him and us. We went to Soundbanks: Joel's first festival and by the second night he was calling me Aurorah, searching Amazon for our new setup and dancing in front of the speakers... He saw me and experienced me in my world and on my stage and got the number for a jem collector/designer... He remarked: "how have I taken this long to come to this"... I almost canceled my gig before going because I knew that getting ourselves situated once we were there was going to be difficult (and I was right) but Joel made me do it and I was grateful for that. The show went great! I played all the hits and I did so, well to a new audience, but I kept thinking about how all the songs could be developed to be so much better... After this weekend, I feel reset as an artist. The fact that I was able to share it with my musical lover who is now converted to a raver and united in my desires, has filled my heart with joy and new purpose. He is finally fully in my corner.... and so am I. |

Went to a festival WITH JOEL, and it was glorious!! I feel more renewed as an artist now, than I've ever been... Let's see how this week goes |
