I did an exercise with my Vistage group on Berne Brown's Joy and Gratitude. Meditation and gratitude is so important and a key ingredient to bring Joy into all of our lives....keep it up!

Susan, I am sorry to hear you were sick. I would really like to learn even more about this process. I like the practice of daily prayers as to "what's next". I would like you to "put your loves in order'. Make a list of everyone and everything you love in priority and then look at the time you spend on each of these loves. Ask the question, does the time I spend on that love match the priority of it? Establishing this intentional approach to goals will go a long way for you. Remember, "put your own mask on first" you can't be of help to anyone else if you don't take care of yourself. It may seem selfish, but it's not!

I was delayed getting my final Week-5 Report filed due to being ill. However, I'm delighted to say that even being under the weather didn't prevent me from being able to uphold my Commitment Contract on this particular non-physical activity. I am feeling overjoyed on 100% success upon conclusion of my 1st step toward this new method of self-accountability.

I've been praying daily over the past week on "what's next" and have several areas that I'm having a hard time sorting through. I'll be talking to my StickK Referee (my big sis) to see if she can shed some light on "the order of things". My fear is that I accidentally bite off too much at once and blow up the positive experience I've been having breaking intense strongholds that have been holding me back.

I know one thing, I will DEFINITELY be continuing with this accountability process as it really "clicks" for me. My goal is to establish my new Commitment Contact(s) by this Sunday-Oct2 so too much time doesn't pass. I think a 1-week gap in between this 1st one ending and the next beginning is just right considering the thought I want going into this versus forcing something through. THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

It was another successful week! Even more encouraging is that I can now easily envision how my new "daily first thing" routine can be a sustainable pattern going forward.

As I roll into my last week for this particular commitment/accountability challenge, my mind has been rolling forward to think about "what's next". I've started talking to Pat (my sweetheart) and my sister, Laura (referee) about this. There are 3 specific new goals related to further establishing a healthier daily/weekly routine that I feel strongly are the most important next focus areas. The problem is that it's feeling daunting to take on all three at once. I can envision not meeting the goal and getting very frustrated over the failure. I know that isn't the right approach. I need to keep stepping into these new routines in a sustainable manner.

I plan on keeping my current goal, "start my day (before anything else) with prayer and devotional time", and layering on top of it. This will be the thing I'll increase my prayer time on this week with the confidence that the Lord will show me His perfect order.

Way to go, Little Sister! I am all too familiar with how life could easily disrupt the goal of having devotional time each day. So glad you have that time perfectly planned into your day to start with the Lord!

Little Sister, The power behind what you are experiencing is immeasurable. The Lord is clearly holding you in the palm of His hand. It sounds like your deeper acknowledgement of His guidance is freeing. As your big sister, I am thankful to God for putti

These past 2-weeks have brought a new depth and richness to my life in so many ways. I'm feeling amazed by what the Lord has shown me day-by-day out on our deck each morning. The pruning has been been glorious and painful at the same time! Back in 2002 when the Lord took the rightful place in my life (not just as my Savior, but as the Lord of my life), I have had tight communion with Him through prayer, study of His word, etc. What I've learned through this accountability challenge of "putting Him first in my day.. before anything else" is that my ability to hear Him and understand His will for my actions has grown 10-fold. It would take too long to type ALL the life-changing things He has shown me, and done through me for others, in just these 14 short days. Suffice to say, I'm grateful to have learned how to release my challenges to Him on a new level so His wisdom and grace can flow me in a more powerful way to break strongholds for myself and others. This morning I'm feeling deeply grateful for all the things I mentioned, and also for all of you who are supporting me on this journey. Thank you!
