| Pretty good 3rd day! The most I’ve ever practiced after varsity brass! Got home, ate, did some scales then Espirite, then printed All state music, texted Tanner, improvised over song for my father, transcribed a tiny bit of Lady Bird, off to sight read some hymns, then journal | |

| Super good 2nd day, finished Song for my Father and made a recording, on to the Fats Navarro tune! Sightread a lot of hymns, and worked an hour of fundamentals and issma solo, feeling a bit anxious for all state jazz band because i feel so incompetent at improvising, but the only thing I can control is listening a shit ton, transcribing, and working on Walters scale patterns | |
