I have made lots of progress with my writing this week - I even wrote a few essays in Chinese! One of the essays I wrote about was about Ben Carson's story, Gifted Hands, and how inspiring his life is. It was still relatively simple language ... but have to start somewhere as I write these essays.

Lots of great speaking practice and starting to write letters in Chinese! This commitment sure is helping my lesson preparation for the conference in November ... To teach in Chinese, this will be a first, only one month away!
