I've been approaching girls after work on days I don't go to the gym. I approached about 10-15 girls the last week, and met a girl standing by herself who seemed receptive of me and then we walked and there was a street performer playing music. She seems to be very passionate about music but I'm not as into music as she was, even if its my favorite kind. So after a few minutes, I got her number and bounced. She's pretty receptive to texts though so I will see where it goes.

I approached 6 girls at the gym last week. I got used to talking to them for the sake of just starting a conversation not necessarily hitting on them. Once I get used to it being natural, I will start to feel out the conversations and gauge if it's okay to push the interactions further. I did more approaches at my cousin's engagement party in Irvine. I talked to a few of my cousin's friends. I felt a bit anxious though because I knew my relatives were probably watching, so I didn't take those interactions past short banter. One girl came up to me on the dance floor and initiated but I just denied her because I didn't want to deal with my family saying anything.
