Then had a miscommunication---thought Ari was going to watch a movie, so I went and finished up some work. In bed at 10pm; should have been 9pm.
But could have been worse. Marked success.

Yesterday: started routine at 8:08. In bed with lights off around 9:00 or 9:30.
8 minutes late---giving myself grace, but will try to be more strict in the future. ex. "We're just finishing up an episode!" could instead be "I'll pause the episode, brush my teeth, then finish the episode."
