I did two-pages longhand, morning pages. I spent 1 Pomodoro organizing this week's tasks on projects including writing; 1 Pomodoro completing the footnote on the original form of this essay; and beginning to compare the MS word version I have from the presentation with the printed version. There are differences -- apparently I edited the essay considerably. So I am entering those differences to the Word file. And also editing as I go. I only made it through the first paragraph. Got a doc appt this am. So will get back at it tomorrow.

I did my morning pages today and went to Staples and stocked up on file folders, printing paper to continue with the writing project. Tomorrow is back to Confessions.

Okay, I typed the longest jourrnal entry ever and then pressed NO and it erased the entire piece. So the short version is:
1. Morning pages done today.
2. One pomodoro of writing: Located and printed off the pdf of "Confessions on Learning the Curriculum of Love", and read the essay in its entirety for the first time in many years. I found it fascinating how detailed my memories were twenty years ago. I loved some of the sentences and the gist of the essay and its pointing to the value of memoir. I made a list of what to do next on the essay which is to compare word-by-word, the published version with the Word doc I created from a TextEdit file from the original conference presentation (I think it was in Word Perfect which can only be opened with TextEdit).
I also flagged that I want to revisit the paragraph about leaving Georges--it caused a kerrfuffle in the family--so may want to dodge the point I was making if it is not necessary for the main point of the essay.
