Diet & Healthy Eating
Often times the hardest part about dieting is imagining how long it will take to get where you want to be. But, the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. So try starting small; cook dinner 3 nights a week, or take lunch to work. But big steps or small, commit today to the most important thing you've got...your health.

flvmbell May 11, 2024, 7:23 AM"I am feeling pretty happy with my diet. It is by no means consistently good yet and I need a bit more organisation about me. It's not working having the shop during a weekday I don't think because I then don't have time to organise myself for the week ahead in terms of breakfasts and lunches. It needs to come back to the weekend at least for the time being. But I noticed that I'm feeling like I have much more consistent energy throughout the day and I'm enjoying not having to waste money at the shop and go to sainsburys and eat crap. I'm going to be on my absolute best behaviour with it this week. I would like to start losing weight because I think although I don't really think I'm gaining any, I would like to lose some in a healthy and sustained way. I understand that I still eat non healthy foods and do very low levels of exercise, so to get my body moving again is going to be really important. I don't want to undo all the good nourishing work I've done with my nutritionist and under nourish myself or get into a bad mental space or relationship with food and my body again. At the moment I feel able to have a treat every day or every other day and ruminate or feel guilty or loathe my body or myself or food or binge and that's a really really good place to be. I probably feel the best about food that I ever have done which is amazing. Review of the week : things go wrong when I go out with others, I don't know how to change that. Maybe if I have high protein bars, nuts, dried fruit, water in my car/bag to store so that I can eat with them, but eat healthily, that will be better. "View my Commitment
