Committing to pay money for non compliance really triggered this voraciously determined part of myself so I was very aggressive about planning to proactively plan my day and do things to stay in a good positive energy - I LOVED it! It went great! I plan to continue to do the same commitment - just slowly increasing the length of time I had to commit for (i.e. do 2 days, then 3 days, then 4 days etc. and once I get to 6 days I will uo the stake to $6 a day etc."View my Commitment

jacerbeach Jul 25, 2024, 3:22 PM"Record of where I was at when i started my commitment to my nutrition protocol on July 25, 2024. - 197.6 lbs (wearing my red swim trunks added 0.6 lbs) - measured in morning after bathroom trip and before consuming food or water - 39” waist - 14.5” neck - Estimated 27.4% body fat (a little into the obese range) - Estimated 143.5 lbs lean mass - Estimated 54.1 lbs fat mass I used this online calculator to estimate body fat - https://www.calculator.net/body-fat-calculator.html - a DEXA scan would be the gold standard this is probably the next best thing without spending money on that which i plan to do later. All measurements: Neck 14.5” Shoulders ~47” (hard to measure yourself on this one) Chest 40” Biceps 13.75” Forearms 12” Waist 39” Hips 42” Thighs 22” Calves 15.5”"View my Commitment

I’m super amazed how I can be ahead of my weekly target goal. During the bbq I had a Coke Zero and some cold cuts that with all the preservatives that they have they are considered UPFs. For the rest of the week, I ate clean and keep going with my training for the half marathon. Last Monday I run 19kg so in 2 weeks time I should be able to make it 🤞☺️💪🏃♂️"View my Commitment

Donc en un mois toujours là à lutter pour revenir au poids du début de challenge. Honnêtement ça donne envie d'abandonner. Une partie de moi pense à accepter que je serai toujours gros. Une autre refuse et veut se battre quitte à accumuler les échecs répétés avant d'y arriver. En tout cas c'est une souffrance. rmcnutt Jul 22, 2024, 4:39 PM"I went in today to see if I could get my motorcycle race leathers altered to fit. I hadn't put it on since crashing on track in 2018 or 2019 (can't recall exactly when). It was so hard to get it on and I was sweating like mad once I did squeeze into it. They could alter it but it would be adding more than 12" in places :( I felt so ashamed at how much weight I had put on. There is no point to paying the $400 or so it would cost to have these leathers altered when I can get a custom suit for about $1,000. This will be my reward as I start shedding the lbs. I really want to be back on a racetrack with the hubby & kiddos by next spring."View my Commitment

I was down more through the week but had a big meal last night, so I think my check in weight is a result of last night. Regardless of the scale, my clothes are starting to fit better.
