I will concentrate on real world concerns and constructive actions for at least the next 8 hours -- I will not read, watch, write, or listen to fictional works until after 7:30 pm and after washing the bathroom sink and at least two items that need hand-washing.

| I succeeded in avoiding fictional works for the designated time and in washing the bathroom sink and the two planned items. So, I did well on the letter of the commitment. I didn't do quite as well on the spirit of the commitment, as I spent some time online at sites that were non-fictional but not immediately related to my day's concerns: Predictably Irrational and sfgate, possibly others that I've forgotten. But I think I'm going to call it a success. | |
