| January 2013 came and went, and I did NOT take any hikes. I had NOT made a commitment here though! When I looked over my choices for group hikes, there was Always the stipulation to bring a hiking pole and boots and flashlights, as the weather is cold, icey, snowy, and it is dark early. Soooo, I DID buy some hiking poles. Most of the hikes have also been 5 miles or more, and I am unsure of myself on that long of a hike with the trouble I have had with my feet. Also, I envisioned going with Rick, and he has NOT been receptive,even though he wants to exercise... And we Used to have so much quality time together hiking. Sooo.... I'm thinking I can commit to ONE a month for the year. I have a date picked out, Feb 16 or Feb 17, weekend. I am planning to work 8 hrs the 2 weekends surrounding that. I miss nature. I miss the outdoors. Maybe I will take some photos. | |
