Real-World Experiment Day #32

wrkinprogrss commits to:
concentrate on real-world concerns and issues until after I have put in at least 3.5 hours on the config project for work, and also taken 2 15-minute Positivity breaks. I will not consume fiction or other audiobooks before that time, and I will access restricted non-fic sites only in my usual time windows.
If I notice and make a note of feelings or situations that immediately precede any cravings for escape into fiction, I'll offer myself a reward of 5 minutes of luxurious stretching, right away. From 10:32-11:00pm, I will only prepare for bed or do a little journaling while in bed. I will be in bed with the lights out by 11:10pm.

| I'm going to call this one a success, with a tiny bit of fudging--I did listen to a little audio fiction while preparing for bed, but turned it off when I remembered that that didn't match the goal. Had lights out by 11:03pm, and didn't dink with restricted site windows at all. LeechBlock working well, now, and very helpful to have firefox's font size control for general browsing. Yay, me! Progress! | |
