wrkinprogrss commits to:
concentrate on real-world concerns and issues, today, except between 9:30pm and 10:00pm, when I will allow myself to consume fiction for a half hour, provided that I set an alarm for the 10:00pm cut-off time.
I will consume non-fiction audio-books only: - After I have taken two 15-minute Positivity breaks, AND - After I have done grocery shopping including getting sandwich bread AND - Between 6:30pm and 10:00pm. I will access restricted sites only in my usual time windows. If I notice and make a note of feelings or situations that immediately precede any cravings for escape into fiction, I'll offer myself a reward of 5 minutes of luxurious stretching, right away. From 10:00-10:30pm, I will only prepare for bed, without audio input, or do a little journaling while in bed. I will be in bed with the lights out by 10:30pm.

| Calling this a success--met the fiction and restricted sites and bedtime conditions. Didn't fully meet the non-fiction audio-book conditions (took only 1 of 2 planned Positivity breaks, and only got some of the planned groceries), but didn't consume any audio-books,today. So, that feels to me like success by the letter, qualified success by the spirit. | |

| Did some journaling to try to figure out how to be willing to get back on track. Did preliminary physical setting up of new all-in-one printer. Working on th h/w now. Not work, but at least constructive. | |
