Keep an extreme diet, as follows: Only things I'm allowed to eat are oatmeal with walnuts (or without), salmon, and salad. On Shabbos everything goes. All drinking is allowed. Elchanan (should he choose to accept the role) will referee at his discretion should an exception come up (e.g., marooned on a desert island or other unforeseen circumstances) that would justify any other eating. Purim, including the Seudah if it goes into the night, is an exception to this.
