More Right Time for Reading and MP3...

limiting my recreational reading and mp3 player use, as follows, on work days: MWF: only between 6:30pm and 10:30pm; Tue: only between 5:30pm and 10:30pm; Thur: only between 6:30pm and 11:15pm. July 3rd holiday observance is exempted.

| Had about 75% success on this goal, over the 9 days that it applied to. Going to call it a failure, but feel pretty good about doing as well as I did. | |

| Did OK on this goal, yesterday -- fudged a few minutes of reading LJ friends page before the allowed time-window, but only a few. Did some economics/CD listening and going through accumulated snail-mail after the allowed time-window. I'm pleased that I had the discipline to finish my status report and turn the computer off, voluntarily, at a reasonable hour. | |

| Am wondering how badly it would bend the spirit of this goal to watch the new economics DVD. Probably too badly, since the computer is still on only because I disabled the auto-off in the interest of getting my work status report done, tonight. I will check email and then shut down for tonight. | |
