It doesn't quite appear that this goal will be accomplished within the time frame that I have allotted. It is been on my goal list forever. While this is a bit of a disappointment, I have to give myself credit and say that although this particular thing has been accomplished yet, I still have been accomplishing other goals so I don't feel terribly awful about it. I do though wish I had taken care of this a long time ago.
Maybe if I don't achieve this by the end of the month. I will set my goals to be broken down per room etc to be accomplished by a certain due date? Who knows....either way...IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that I finally accomplish this goal. I feel like it is one of the major things that prevents me from being motivated with other goals. I hate having to look for things and not knowing where things are because I am unorganized. I need to be organized to thrive!! |

I REALLY wanted to have all rooms done prior to starting my new job June 6th, so that way, I can be starting everything off on the right note. As of today, it doesn't look likely though.
It's taking me a while to actually get through organizing and spring cleaning the living room (which is my hardest room), because I a file cabinet and just have so many stacks of papers and things that I need to go through thoroughly. Plus, I have to sort out the closet. Its quite the tasks!
I have come to the conclusion though, that if I at least finish the living room prior to me starting the new job, I will still be off to a good note because I still would like to have some days to enjoy to relax before starting in order to feel relaxed and refreshed!
I'll see how much I am able to finish...again...doubt that it will be all rooms since I am trying to be as thorough as possible, but I'll be proud to finally have the living room done. The rest should be easier. i have until the end of June, so we'll see how it goes! |

Plan of Attack:
*May still have to start with the most difficult room first (The living room) and work from there.
1. Living Room & Closet
2. Bedroom & Closet
3. Kitchen & Closet
4. Bathroom & Hallway Closet
5. Basement Storage
6. Computer Files
7. Emails
I still haven't decided if I want to focus on one room per day or mix it up. I guess it will just kind of depend on the day and what I feel it best in the moment. The most important thing is just to get it done as quickly as possible (especially since I would like to enjoy my time off) without feeling overwhelmed!

Okay...so I have totally been HERE before. I REALLY, DEEPLY and TRULY get this task done! I have been working on it slightly, but given that I have been able to accomplish a few of my other bigger goals, I really need to get this done and finally add this to my "Accomplished" list.
Ideally, I wanted to have this done prior to leaving my old job at FHC, before my 9 day vacation prior to starting the new job. Now that didn't happen, but I would still like to ideally have everything organized prior to starting the new job so I may have to take care of this during my vacation. Womp, womp! Oh well...I guess I have to do what I have to do. I guess now it's time to put a plan of attack in place! |
