| Temptation rarely assaults you; rather, it creeps up through a hundred small impressions, each designed to weaken and subdue gradually. I've found that when (in the back of my head) I'm freaked out about messing up, I automatically eschew slippery slopes far more easily than when I have no incentive against it. Keeping clear of the tractor pull of lazy and lustful thoughts is where I aim to stay, and, for now, it's working. Progress. | |

| I went through my financial goals and plans in Mint today. Failing once will severely restrict my future plans, and failing twice will ruin my life for at least the next 12 months, destroying everything I'm working towards. Now I'm genuinely freaked out I'll forget about this goal and accidentally ruin my life. Progress, I guess. | |
